International Civil Engineering Conference

International Civil Engineering Conference (ICEC) is a regular feature in the calendar of events for Institution of Engineers Pakistan and NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi. It is being organized frequently for almost two decades now. Twelve International Conferences have been organized in the past. Every year, the ICEC is held under an innovative theme related to contemporary issues that relate Civil Engineering and Socio-economics of the society. The latest version of ICEC was held on May 13 - 14, 2022 at the department of the Civil Engineering, NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi. Theme of the conference was "Integrating Technology in Civil Engineering". More than 40 papers were presented at the 2022 conference which include both national and international participation. The conference was attended physically and online by a number of delegates from academia and industry. Invited talk from renowned industry experts and consultants are also held in the ICEC to bridge the gap between academia and industry & review the current engineering practices, challenges faced by the industry and their potential solutions in collaboration with academia.
