International Civil Engineering Conference
The 15th International Civil Engineering Conference (ICEC-2025), jointly organized by the NED University of Engineering & Technology and The Institution of Engineers Pakistan, will be held on November 7–8, 2025, in Karachi. The theme for this year’s conference, “Nano-Driven Material Innovation: Applications in Civil Engineering,” reflects the evolving landscape of construction materials and the critical role of nanotechnology in revolutionizing civil infrastructure.
As civil engineering faces challenges related to durability, sustainability, and resilience, the integration of nanotechnology into construction materials offers transformative solutions. Nanomaterials such as nano-silica, carbon nanotubes, graphene, and nano-alumina are redefining conventional material behavior by significantly enhancing mechanical strength, self-healing capability, corrosion resistance, and long-term performance.
ICEC-2025 aims to bring together researchers, engineers, scientists, and industry experts from across the globe to share recent advancements, case studies, and future directions related to nano-engineered materials. The conference will explore how these innovations can address critical issues in concrete technology, structural performance, pavement systems, water treatment, and geotechnical applications.
