
Dr. Sajjad Ali
Biography
Dr. Sajjad Ali is an Assistant Professor and PhD-approved Supervisor at NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi. He earned his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, with doctoral research centered on assessing the environmental implications of roadway traffic on urban air quality. Dr. Sajjad scholarly pursuits encompass transportation and environmental engineering, sustainable pavement design, traffic accident analysis, advanced traffic modeling, and climate-resilient infrastructure systems. Dr. Sajjad has an extensive publication record in high-impact international journals, contributing significantly to the domains of asphalt performance enhancement, waste material, and urban pollution mitigation. He has supervised numerous postgraduate research projects and is actively engaged in interdisciplinary collaborations addressing sustainable construction practices and low-carbon urban development. He frequently delivers invited lectures and conference presentations, advancing discourse in transportation innovation and environmental sustainability. In addition to his academic and research commitments, Dr. Sajjad serves as the Faculty Head of the NED Debating Society and the Department Representative of the UA&FA Committee.
