Dr. Sadaf Qasim
Biography
I am privileged to have completed my Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, with first class honors, from the oldest and perhaps the most prestigious engineering university of my country, NED University of Engineering & Technology. Initially, I worked as a professional engineer in the mainstream construction industry to develop the insight and get the practical experience of the onsite working environment. Subsequently, in 1999, I embarked upon my passion of teaching and it was delighting to witness my appointment as a graduate tutor in the Department of Architecture and Town Planning. After acquiring 15 years of teaching experience, I was honored to receive Graduate Assistantship by the Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia to pursue my PhD in Geotechnical Engineering in 2008 which I successfully completed in 2013. Currently, I am working as Associate Professor in the department of Civil and Architecture Engineering at NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, Pakistan
